Koeman label Coutinho's long-term injury as 'An important absence'

Koeman says that Philippe's injury was unlucky. The Dutchman notes that Barca already have several important players on the sidelines.

Coutinho will be out for 3 months but the coach doesn't know when he'll be 100% fit.

"Philippe Coutinho's absence? A bit unlucky because we have so many important players out injured. Philippe will be injured for three months, an important absence" Ronald Koeman has said.

"He has always been an important player but now he has to recover and I don't know when he will be 100 per cent fit. We have some problems with injuries upfront and now we have to see how we can solve them."

Barcelona have recently confirmed that Coutinho's surgery was successful and that the Brazilian will be out for three months. Besides him, Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati and Sergi Roberto are injured as well.
