Laporta not happy with PSG public interest in Leo Messi wants FIFA intervention

PSG director Leonardo has recently confirmed the club's interest in landing Leo Messi.

Joan Laporta says that the Parisians disrespect the Catalans by stating their intentions.

He wants to talk to UEFA and FIFA if elected president in order to prevent such situations in the future.

"PSG allow themselves to say publicly that they want Messi. Barca cannot allow this because it is disrespectful, especially when it comes from a club that ignores the rules. We have to work on this with UEFA and FIFA," Barcelona's presidential candidate Joan Laporta has told the media.

Earlier on, PSG sporting director Leonardo said that the Parisians are among the clubs interested in landing Leo Messi for free in the summer.

Messi's contract at Barcelona expires next summer and he's yet to decide on a possible extension. It is said that his future will depend on who wins the presidential election.
