League 1 side PSG to offer Barcelona up to €25m for Emerson

The 22-year-old right-back has never played for Barca but could bring in the much-needed money.

Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in Barca-owned right-back Emerson and could offer up to €25m for his services, Diario Sport report.

Fellow Brazilian Leonardo, the Parisian club's sporting director, is believed to be behind the whole operation.

However, the Catalans won't receive the aforementioned sum in full because a certain percentage of the transfer fee would go to Emerson's current club Real Betis.

Emerson would like to play for Barca but the right-back position is well-covered and the club urgently need money.

The 22-year-old hasn't made a single appearance for the Catalans: he was sent to Betis on a 2-year loan straight after his €12m move from Atletico Mineiro.

This season, he has been involved in 2 goals in 16 appearances for Los Beticos.
