Lenglet reacts Cornella tough win: 'We lacked aggressiveness to score'

Lenglet believes that Barcelona was unlucky not to score early. He notes that Barca weren't the only ones who found it hard to score against third-tier rivals.

The Frenchman also praised Cornella's defending.

"We had chances to score from the penalties, the corner kicks, but the goalkeeper stopped a lot of the shots and we were also unlucky," Clement Lenglet said after the Cornella win, as quoted by Besoccer.

"We also lacked aggressiveness to score the first goal, but we also saw that other teams have found it difficult to score goals in this type of matches in the cup.

"Cornella is a team that defends very well, they were well folded back and the goalkeeper played a great game."

Barcelona beat Cornella 2-0 thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite. However, the Catalans needed to go into extra time to secure the win.

Blaugrana will face Rayo Vallecano in the next round of Copa del Rey.
