Mason Mount proud to wear Chelsea captain's armband for first time

The 22-year-old becomes the youngest Chelsea captain since John Terry!

Mason Mount has taken to social media after leading Chelsea to the pitch with a captain's armband for the first time in his professional career.

He tweeted: "Captaining the club I’ve been at since the age of 6, no words can describe the emotion and immense pride!"

In fact, Mount has become the youngest Chelsea captain since John Terry: the legend donned the armband for the first time when he was 22 years old as well.

Of course, Mount is behind Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Thiago Silva and N'Golo Kante when it comes to captaincy but it's still a massive show of support from Frank Lampard.
