Michel Moulin promise to recall Karim Benzema to france national team in his FA presidential campaign.

The Real Madrid striker hasn't played for Didier Deschamps' side since 2015 due to his alleged involvement in a blackmail attempt of Mathieu Valbuena.

Michel Moulin wants to bring the 33-year-old back to the France squad if he gets elected.

"On the management of Karim Benzema, who is a great striker, Didier Deschamps, he is an employee of the FFF," French FA presidential candidate Michel Moulin said in an interview with Le Figaro.

"If above him, he is told to play Benzema, he must make him play."

Deschamps hasn't called up the Real Madrid striker to the France squad since 2015 due to Karim's alleged involvement in a blackmail attempt of Mathieu Valbuena.

Back in the day, Benzema was charged by the French judiciary for allegedly encouraging his former France teammate to pay the blackmailers who had threatened to make a video of a sexual nature in which the Olympiacos winger appeared public.

Last week, it was confirmed that will stand trial for his alleged role in the Valbuena scandal.
