Mundo Deportivo: Barca happy with Juan Miranda's progress at Real Betis

The left-back has already scored twice this season.

Juan Miranda has been doing really nicely at Real Betis lately, playing full 90 minutes in the last six matches.

Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona are closely following the left-back and are happy with his recent progress.

The Catalans view Juan as a potential back-up to Jordi Alba for next season.

The 20-year-old had a tough time at first, with Manuel Pellegrini preferring Alberto Moreno over him in the left-back position.

In total, Miranda has played 607 minutes across 9 matches for Betis while recording two goals and one assist.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Barca are ready to sell Junior Firpo either in January or next summer.
