OptaJose: Messi and Pedri make history at new San Mames as Barca beat Athletic

The Argentine has apparently found his heir at Camp Nou. Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-2 on Wednesday.

As Lionel Messi scored a brace against the Basques he's become the first player to do so at the new San Mames in La Liga since the stadium's opening in 2013.

Pedri, for his part, scored Barca's equalizer before setting up Leo's first goal and thus has become the youngest player to score and assist in a La Liga match at the new San Mames, at the age of 18 years and 42 days.
