Paperwork now '99% done: Atalanta winger Amad Diallo set to complete Manchester United move

Atalanta winger Amad Diallo is expected in England next week to complete his move to Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News reports United are in the process of finalising the remaining paperwork for Diallo's work permit ahead of his expected move to England this month and the 18-year-old has obtained a governing body endorsement.

Players must obtain a GBE from the Football Association before they can play for their new club and a source close to the deal says it is '99 per cent done'

Diallo has flown to Rome to complete the final round of his paperwork, which is believed to relate to a visa. Diallo is due to fly to Manchester in the middle of next week.

United agreed to sign Diallo, 18, on deadline day in October for a fee rising to £37million as part of a new recruitment drive of targeting talented teenagers overseas.
