'People talk a lot. He is our player': Guardiola to Eric Garcia Barca rumours

Barcelona could finalise the Eric Garcia deal until the transfer deadline on February 1.

Pep Guardiola notes that there are few days until the deadline.

Eric 'is an exceptional player' and Man City are happy to have him on the team, Pep adds.

"I don't want to talk about this [Eric Garcia] case. People talk a lot. He is our player. The transfer window finishes in a few days. We are fully committed to having him here because he is an exceptional player and guy," Pep Guardiola has told the media.

According to multiple sources, Barcelona could still finalise the deal until the transfer deadline on February 1. Besides, Barca's presidential candidate Victor Font has promised to bring the centre-back to Camp Nou for just €3m plus add-ons if other presidential candidates agree on the deal.

The 20-year-old was part of La Masia between 2008 and 2017. He is currently a back-up defender at Man City.
