PSG boss Pochettino leaves door open for future Real Madrid move

Mauricio Pochettino is officially the new PSG head coach and the Argentine knows a lot about Real Madrid thanks to what former Whites' star Jose Camacho told him.

Camacho's stories stuck in his head, this is why Pochettino doesn't rule out coming to the Bernabeu one day.

"[Jose] Camacho [ex-Real Madrid player and manager] always spoke to me about what it means to belong to the Real Madrid family, to live that culture and learn those values, and that stuck in my head. So why not [come to coach them], we'll see what the future holds," PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Diario AS.

Mauricio Pochettino was in charge of Tottenham Hotspur from 2014 to 2019. In the 2018/19 season, Spurs managed to reach the Champions League final which was perhaps the biggest scoop of the year in football.

The Argentine has some La Liga background too. Pochettino was managing the Espanyol side from 2009 to 2012. Due to his devotion to Espanyol, the Argentine is known for being an FC Barcelona antagonist.
