Ramos' agent retweets message about Real Madrid not extending Sergio's deal

Sergio Ramos' brother and agent Rene Ramos has retweeted a message of a Spanish journalist Alfredo Duro who's frustrated that Real Madrid haven't yet extended Sergio's deal.

"Someone has to explain how and why we got to the point where the club allow the captain, one of their legends, to appear in the absurd lists of players who, from January 1, can negotiate with other teams!!!" it reads.

Earlier on, it was reported that the club and Ramos couldn't agree on the new contract's length.

The 34-year-old's current deal expires in July 2021, which means that he's already free to discuss his future with other clubs.
