Ronald Koeman gives optimistic update on Sergi Roberto's and Ansu Fati recovery

The versatile midfielder could return to action in 2 weeks.

Yet Koeman cannot name any concrete date for Ansu Fati's comeback.

"Ansu and Sergi Roberto's recovery? I don't want to set dates," Ronald Koeman told the media in Saturday's press conference.

"But with Sergi Roberto, it could be two more weeks. The important thing is that they recover well," the coach added.

If Koeman is correct, Sergi could return to action by the end of January. The 28-year-old is still recovering from a muscle injury he sustained in the Atletico Madrid defeat on November 21.

Before the injury, Roberto scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 10 games.

As for Ansu, he is out until February with a knee injury.
