Ronald Koeman sheds light on Barcelona's transfer plans for January

Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and Georginio Wijnaldum are believed to be Barca's top targets.

Koeman would like to make a few signings this month but it depends on the club's financial ability.

"I have made a list of possible weaknesses and players that I think it would be interesting to bring in," Ronald Koeman told the pre-Athletic presser when asked about Barcelona's plans for the January transfer market, as quoted by Marca.

"Any coach always looks to the month of January as a time when the squad can be improved. I am no different, but it depends on the club."

Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and Georginio Wijnaldum are believed to be the Catalans' top targets for the current window. 

Barca, however, will probably have to wait until the end of the season to sign the trio on free transfers when their respective contracts at Lyon, Man City and Liverpool expire.
