Round-up on top Real Madrid's loanees performance across with Mayoral On-fire

With the season being almost halfway through, Tribuna.com decided to take a look at how Madrid's loanees are doing.

1) Jesus Vallejo

Club: Granada

Stats: 1,367 minutes, 17 games.

Brief summary: The 24-year-old has been an important player for Granada, starting in 14 matches this term. Unfortunately, Vallejo missed a couple of matches due to COVID-19. The centre-back has said that he wants to return to the Santiago Bernabeu once the loan deal is done.

2) Dani Ceballos

Club: Arsenal

Stats: 1,309 minutes, 23 games, 1 assist.

Brief summary: Unfortunately, Ceballos hasn't been as important for the Gunners this term as he was last season, managing only 12 starts. However, we should mention that Arsenal haven't been doing too well this season overall. Dani has said that he doesn't want to go on loan for the third year in a row.

3) Takefusa Kubo

Club: Villarreal

Stats: 687 minutes, 19 games, 1 goal, 3 assists.

Brief summary: Despite being decent when given the chance, Unai Emery doesn't seem to trust Kubo too much, with the Japanese starting in only seven matches, with five of them being in the Europa League. It's said that Take is close to joining Getafe on loan.

4) Reinier

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Stats: 136 minutes, 8 games.

Brief summary: The 18-year-old is definitely not getting as many playing time as we'd wish. Reinier missed several matches due to COVID-19 and a muscle injury. Back in October, BVB's director Michael Zorc said that Reinier wasn't getting much action because he lacked fitness.

5) Gareth Bale

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

Stats: 598 minutes, 11 matches, 3 goals.

Brief summary: Bale isn't Jose Mourinho's first choice to start on the wing. Besides, the Welshman has been dealing with injuries again. It's said that Real Madrid expect Gareth to return next summer as he's Spurs loan isn't going too well.

6) Brahim Diaz

Club: AC Milan

Stats: 899 minutes, 20 games, 4 goals, 1 assist.

Brief summary: The youngster does well when on the pitch but he's started in only 10 matches this season. He's been especially useful in the Europa League. Milan's sporting director has said that the club intends to land Brahim on a permanent transfer next summer.

7) Borja Mayoral

Club: AS Roma

Stats: 721 minutes, 16 games, 6 goals, 4 assists.

Brief summary: It's unfair to expect Borja to overthrow Edin Dzeko but the Madrid academy player has been doing his back-up job really well. Mayoral has received a lot of praise in the Italian press for his recent performances.
