Supercomputer predicts Chelsea's final 2020/21 position: No top-four finish

The model is quite pessimistic on the Blues' chances to turn it around.

The first half of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign is almost over and prediction gurus at FiveThirtyEight have updated their forecast.

After Chelsea's recent slump, they are now expected to end up out of the Champions League zone: they're predicted to finish 5th with 64 points.

They still have a 33 per cent chance to finish in the top four - and even a 1 per cent chance to win the whole thing.

However, they're facing a tough race for the 4th place, with Tottenham and Leicester expected to be their main opponents.
