The boys are calling my opener a cross! I’ll need to watch it back: Kieran Tierney

Tierney says he's used to playing under snow having played his previous career in Scotland.

The left-back says it's a consistent hard hard work that helped Arsenal turn around the season.

Kieran says they are just trying to approach game by game and see where it will bring the team.

On the importance of the result: "Yeah, 100 per cent," Kiernan Tierney said as quoted by Arsenal's website. "We want to pick up wins, we want to pick up points, we want to move up the table, and in the last few games we’ve done that.

On how they've turned the form around: "It’s just consistent hard work. We’ve not changed anything from the last three games and we’ve been working hard every day, like we were in the dry spell as well, but now it’s coming together."

On playing under heavy snow: "Yeah, it is what it is. I played in Scotland for my full career so I’m quite used to a bit of cold weather."

On his stunning opener: "The boys are calling it a cross! I’ll need to watch it back! Obviously, I’m delighted with the goal, I don’t score many, but I need to see it again."

On whether we’ve built a good platform: "It’s progression. We’re not going to win every game from now until the end of the season, but hard work will get us there. Right now it’s all about picking up points and getting us higher up the table and catching the team in front of us. The next game is always the most important one."

The 23-year-old has become the first Scotsman in Arsenal's history to score an away goal.
