'This version of De Jong is more complete than at Ajax': Barca manager Koeman

The coach says Frenkie has a lot of duties - he helps in the build-up and contributes offensively.

Koeman adds that the team need De Jong playing in a more advanced role.

"De Jong has a lot of quality to help in the build-up, but he also has to contribute offensively," Ronald Koeman told the media after the 2-1 Rayo Vallecano win sealed by Frenkie's goal.

"Now he has more depths and scores more goals. He is playing in a more offensive position, and we need him.

"This version of De Jong is more complete than the version we saw at Ajax," the coach added.

De Jong has already scored 5 goals so far this season. He never managed more than 4 goals while playing for the Ajax senior team.
