Tiemoue Bakayoko's agent hit at Permanent Napoli move in June

The Chelsea outcast has played regularly for the Serie A side since joining them on loan.

So far, there have been no discussions regarding a potential permanent stay, the agent admits.

But given Bakayoko's status at Napoli, that would be an ideal option for all the parties, he believes.

“It’s too early to talk about that [a permanent move], there are many things that must be considered," Tiemoue Bakayoko's brother and agent Abdoulaye Bakayoko told Radio Marte about the Chelsea loanee's prospects at Napoli.

“He is on loan until the end of the season and he hasn’t talked to the club yet, but staying at Napoli would be a nice opportunity, so we will see.

“He has played for many clubs, but he is happy at Napoli. The results are there and this club would be an ideal option for the future.

“Napoli are title contenders; a positive ending is in everyone’s interest. Napoli will be his priority in June.”

Since joining Napoli on loan back in October, Bakayoko has quickly become a regular starter, making 18 appearances in all competitions. On Sunday, he scored his first goal for the Italian side, and it was a 90th-minute winner against Udinese.

It does not appear as if he has a serious chance to play for Chelsea ever again, with Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard sending him out on loan for 3 consecutive seasons. Chelsea will hope he plays well enough, though, if they want to recoup at least a big chunk of the £40m transfer fee they paid Monaco in 2017.
