Todibo's former agent reveals player lacks of humility is behind his struggles
Todibo's former reveals the centre-back has a difficult character and also the 21-year-old didn't listen to Eric Abidal as he considered himself to be a superstar already.
"We are happy with the work we did to bring him to Barcelona, but now I no longer take care of his interests," Jean-Clair Todibo's ex-agent Bruno Satin told Calciotoday, as quoted by Marca.
"He has a difficult character, he never listened to the advice that [Eric] Abidal, the sporting director of the Catalans, gave him.
"The club believed in him, but Todibo already believed that he was a superstar. That is why his adventure in La Liga did not go well. He has great qualities, but what he lacks is humility."
Todibo joined Barca from Toulouse for €1m in January 2019. The 21-year-old made 5 first-team appearances.
The centre-back is currently on a 2-year loan at Benfica but there are talks that the deal could get cancelled this January. Todibo has featured just twice since October.
