Tottenham to open up Kane new contract talks ahead of Man City, PSG interest

Tottenham have moved to open new contract talks with Harry Kane.

The Independent says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is eager to keep his star man as happy as possible amid interest from elsewhere and initial dialogue has started.

The 27-year-old striker is contracted to Spurs until the summer of 2024, having agreed his last contract with the club back in 2018.

Any new deal would undoubtedly mean an increase on Kane's current £200,000-a-week wage.

Reports last week suggested that Manchester City have identified Kane as their successor to Sergio Aguero and are preparing a £90million offer in the summer.

Former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino could also be interested in a reunion with Kane following his appointment at PSG - especially if Kylian Mbappe moves to Real Madrid.
