United attacker Lingard set to return to action against Watford after months without play

Solskjaer is set to make a number of changes to rest some key players for the FA Cup game.

Jesse Lingard is set to return to Man United’s squad to face Watford in the FA Cup clash on Saturday, as per The Telegraph.

It’s also said that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will play fringe players in this game to assess which players are worthy of keeping in the squad and which should be loaned out.

Lingard hasn’t played for United in over 3 months, last making an appearance in our Carabao Cup win over Brighton.

The Englishman recently had his contract extended by United, indicating that Solskjaer is willing to give him more opportunities to prove his worth.
