Wolverhampton boss Nuno pleased with Chelsea draw

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo was pleased with his side's defensive effort against Chelsea.

The two clubs played out a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge for Blues boss Thomas Tuchel's first game in charge.

Nuno went into the game with pressure of his own, given their lowly position in the league this term.

But Wolves showed their quality and dug in defensively to get a point.

"We've been bad for a while, so it's always important," said Nuno to reporters post-game.

"You know me – everything starts from being organised and compact.

"The boys did well and didn't allow too many situations, so I'm proud of them, of course.

"That's what it's all about, as we've had matches where, unfortunately, in the final minutes we have clearly lost focus and attention – and been punished.

"The message was clear, to be switched on all the game until the referee's final whistle.

"I truly believe that with organisation, after the talent of our players up in the pitch, it can bring us good things."
