Zidane react to Real Madrid draw: 'Match should have been postponed, it's not football'

The coach says Madrid did everything they could but the conditions were atrocious.

Zidane adds he doesn't know when his side will be able to return to Madrid because the airport is closed because of the snowstorm.

"For me, this was not a game of football. It should have been postponed," Zinedine Zidane told the media after Real Madrid was held to a goalless draw at Osasuna.

"We did what we could do on the pitch, but it was not a football game. The conditions were very difficult, after all we have been through these two days," the coach added.

Real Madrid were forced to play even though the northern part of Spain has been hit with a heavy snowstorm.

Zidane also shared his concerns regarding the journey back to Madrid, saying: "We don't know when we can go back home."

As a reminder, the Madrid squad were stuck on the plane for 3 hours waiting for the take-off to Pamplona. The Barajas airport in Madrid remains closed.
