With numbers of superstar or players, Arsenal has missed out on, If actually, they landed some of them they would have been among the top team in Europe competing for major trophies like the champions league which is their dream trophy. They came close to winning the trophy back in 2006 when they hosted Barcelona in the final with the like of Thierry Henry and co still with the team

However, they have missed out on a fair amount of these players in recent years during former manager Arsene Wenger era.

1) Thomas Lemar

Reports suggest the north London club launched an enquiry to Bayern Munich about signing him last summer, only for Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League champions to eventually win the race for his signature.  

8) Yaya Toure

Gnégnéri Yaya Touré is an Ivorian retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder and last played for Chinese Super League club Qingdao Huanghai. Touré aspired to be a striker during his youth and has played centre-back, including for Barcelona in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final

Wenger was not impressed, branding Ivory Coast midfielder’s performance during a trial at Arsenal back in 2003 as “completely average” on the day. Toure eventually went on to win two Spanish titles and the Champions League with Barcelona, before playing an integral part in three Premier League title triumphs with City.
