AS: Gerard Pique plans Barca return in action against Sevilla second leg

Gerard Pique is eager to make an injury return in Barcelona's clash with Sevilla in the second leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final on March 3, Diario AS report.

The 34-year-old could feature for Barca for the first time in three months in less than three-week time.

The centre-back suffered a knee injury in late November and has been out of action since then.

Pigue resumed individual training last week.

As per the Madrid-based source, Gerard is set to return to the main-group training starting from February 15.

Even though the 34-year-old is eyeing his return to the pitch in early March, his comeback could be delayed by the Spanish FA.

Pique is now under investigation over his recent comments about La Liga referees favouring Real Madrid and thus could be handed a ban of between 4 and 12 games.
