Barca midfielder De Jong: 'We believe we can reach the Copa del Rey final'

De Jong says that the Sevilla game was a difficult one for Barca, especially in the first half.

Frenkie admits there might have been a penalty on Alba that wasn't given.

The Dutchman reckons the team now need to show they are mentally strong and go for the win in the return leg.

"It was a difficult game for us, especially the first half. I think we were better in the second half, we had some chances. Maybe we should've gotten the penalty, I don't know. And at the end (sighs), it's hard to take the second goal," Frenkie de Jong said after the Sevilla loss.

"We thought we were going to score. We have shown that we are mentally very strong. We believe we can reach the final."

Barcelona have lost 2-0 against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey semi-finals. The return leg is planned for March 3.
