Barcelona players rating in Betis win with Messi 9, Pjanic 4.5

Barcelona secured a comeback victory away at Real Betis on Sunday night and it all started when Miralem Pjanic made way for Lionel Messi. After the former had been quiet, the Argentine was anything but and made an impact.

Other players stood too and you can have your say on all the performances below.

Miralem Pjanic — 4.5

The Bosnian didn't show too much on the pitch against Real Betis, and it looked like all of his movements were a second too slow, which allowed the opponents to disposes him.

Oscar Mingueza — 5.5

The right side was the weak spot in Barcelona's defence and Betis took advantage of it as often as they could. Mingueza was often caught out of position or even beaten off the dribble. Oscar isn't a nominal right-back and it shows.

Leo Messi — 9

Barca with and without Messi look like two different teams. Despite the Argentine being subbed in only in the 56th minute, it was enough for Leo to prove his class and turn the game around for Barca, taking a major part in all of the three goals.

Clement Lenglet — 7.5

After being benched for two consecutive matches, Lenglet delivered a very inspiring performance against Betis. The Frenchman was very secure at the back and even did well when playing as the right-centreback, a position that can be complicated for a left-footed player,

Francisco Trincao — 7

The Portuguese scored a brilliant goal to win Barcelona the match. Although he wasn't too often in possession, Trincao didn't put a foot wrong and looked solid overall.

Others: Ter Stegen — 6.5, Araujo — n/a, Alba — 7, Busquets — 7, Puig — 6.5, Dembele — 7.5, Griezmann — 6.5, Braithwaite — 5, De Jong — 6.5, Pedri — 7.5, Umtiti — n/a.
