Dembele reveals Messi inspired him as a kid and he inspires me now

Dembele believes that Messi is the best player in history and says that it is a 'privilege and an honour' to play alongside Leo.

He claims that it's easy to play with the Argentine as he always takes the right decisions on the pitch.

"Leo Messi is a genius, the best player in the history of football. For me, it is a privilege and an honour to be able to play with him. He inspired me when I was a kid and he inspires me now," Ousmane Dembele has told Barcelona's official media.

"I feel that it's easy to play with Messi. He always finds the right pass, and he tries to put you in the best position. There will only ever be one player like that in football."

Since Dembouz's move to Barcelona from back in 2017, he's played 78 matches alongside Messi, and the two took part in 13 goals together. Leo assisted 8 of Dembele's goals, while Ousmane returned the favour five times.
