Dembele set to extend Barca contract, ready to be 'key player' for future

The Frenchman is in no hurry, though, and will wait for the new president to be elected before opening talks with the Catalans.

Blaugrana have to decide whether to raise his salary or not, which would be difficult to do because of the financial struggles.

If no agreement is reached, Ousmane may decide to stay until his contract expires and leave for free in 2022, it's claimed.
