Dest and Pjanic back as Barcelona announce 22-man squad for Alaves clash

Ronald Koeman has revealed his squad list for his side's match against Alaves at the Camp Nou this Saturday at 21.00 CET. As expected, Sergino Dest and Mirelam Pjanic return after not travelling to Seville on Wednesday.

Dest, who was suffering from a thigh injury, has been forced out of the team intermittently recently but has trained three times with the squad this week. It remains to be seen if he'll be involved from the start or whether Koeman will save him for the upcoming Champions League tie against Paris Saint Germain.

Pjanic has returned after having an issue with his left foot, while Martin Braithwaite is still out after pulling a muscle in his right thigh.

Koeman still has a lengthy injury list, however, with Ronald Araujo, Sergi Roberto, Gerard Pique, Philippe Coutinho and Ansu Fati all sidelined. This is dar from ideal at such an important point in the season and has forced Koeman to bring in several players from his B side: Inaki Pena, Oscar Mingueza, Ilaix Moriba, Alex Collado and Konrad de la Fuente.
