Ex Barca player Jonathan dos Santos: It would be incredible to have him in MLS

Messi isn't at his best right now reveals ex-Barcelona midfielder and hopes Leo will find his feet again.

Dos Santos would love the Argentine to join his current side LA Galaxy in a foreseeable future.

"It's been a long time since I saw a [Barcelona] game, and I saw the match against PSG," former Barca midfielder Jonathan dos Santos has told ESPN.

"I don't know what's wrong with him [Lionel Messi]. Obviously, he's not the same as five or six years ago, but I hope he recovers.

"He's going through a very difficult time."

Messi is out of contact in the summer and won't extend it until the end of the season. Dos Santos, how now represents MLS side LA Galaxy, hopes the Argentine is going to retire in the US.

"It would be incredible to have Messi in MLS. I think he can retire here in the league," the 30-year-old added.

"We will surely see him here in a short time, in two or three years. Hopefully, he will join LA Galaxy."
