Font and his board plan to offer Messi a lifetime contract'

Victor Font says Leo Messi deserves to win the World Cup.

The presidential candidate has also confirmed his team's intentions to offer Leo a life-long deal.

"Our [his team's] idea is to offer a lifetime contract to Lionel Messi," Victor Font has told RadiogacetaRNE.

The presidential candidate also opened up on who he would support in the World Cup final – Spain or Argentina.

"I'd go with Argentina. Messi is the best player in the world and deserves [to win] a World Cup."

Earlier, both Joan Laporta and Toni Freixa confirmed that one of their priority tasks is extending Leo Messi's deal.

The Argentine's current deal expires in July 2021.
