Granada vs Atletico Madrid Preview and Prediction 2021

Granada vs Atletico Madrid predictions for Saturday’s La Liga encounter at Los Carmenes. After their slip at home to Celta last time, can the league leaders return to their familiar winning ways this weekend? Read on for our free La Liga predictions and betting tips.

Atletico Madrid have won 16 of their 20 La Liga games this season (D3, L1), including seven from nine on the road (D1, L1).

Los Colchoneros have won six of the last seven meetings including a 6-0 thrashing at Wanda Metropolitano earlier this season.

Granada are without a win in their last four La Liga starts (D3, L1).

Leaders to Overpower Nazaries Again

Atletico Madrid dropped points for just the fourth time this season at home to Celta Vigo last time out, but the La Liga leaders are strongly fancied to hit back when they take on Granada at Los Carmenes.

Atleti’s 2-2 draw at home to Celestes was a poor result all things considered, and they were uncharacteristically pegged back late in the piece by Facundo Ferreyra’s 89th minute leveller.

Nonetheless, it can only be marked as a blip in what has been an outstanding campaign for Los Colchoneros, who had previously won eight league games on the spin.

Diego Simeone’s side have won 16 from 20 overall this term (D3, L1) including seven from nine on the road (D1, L1) and their most emphatic success was their 6-0 drubbing of Granada in September’s reverse fixture.

Nazaries have been a formidable outfit at Los Carmenes this season where they have won six from 11 (D3, L2), however it’s hard to envisage Diego Martinez’ charges getting anything from this contest.

Atleti’s aforementioned demolition job was their sixth win in their last seven meetings against Granada and Simeone’s side look well-priced to enhance that record here. The title favourites should comfortably return to winning ways and we’re forecasting a 1-3 correct score.
