Haaland Real Madrid move in danger as Chelsea plan hijack transfer deal

According to Bild, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has given the green light to an investment of more than €100 million in Erling Haaland.

Cash-rich Chelsea have already spent some €250 million since the start of the pandemic and the club’s Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has given the green light to an investment of more than €100 million in Haaland, according to German paper Bild.

A move for the Haaland, one of the most promising talents in world football, would go a large way in helping the Blues’ quest to return to the top of the Premier League, where the last title came in 2017.

 If the Bild reports are correct, it will be major cause of concern for Madrid, who have had their sights set on Haaland for quite a while.
