Henderson breaks Reds appearance record, joins Liverpool greats

The captain was once again sensational as centre-back against West Ham in the 3-1 win on Sunday.

The convincing win against David Moyes' men saw Jordan Henderson reach 286 appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League.

Hendo is now on 4th on the all-time appearance list in the Premier League for Liverpool players.

Only Jamie Carragher (508), Steven Gerrard (504), and Sami Hyypia (318) have made more appearances so far.

Henderson joined the Reds back in 2011 from Sunderland in a deal worth around £20m.

Since then the 30-year-old has gone from almost being sold to leading the club to their first-ever Premier League trophy last season.
