'In my opinion, he's well paid': La Liga president see nothing wrong with Messi contract

Some many reactions have been moving around the internet after Spanish outlet El Mundo leaked the details of Leo Messi's Barca deal.

Javier Tebas notes that Barca would easily pay Messi's contract if not for the coronavirus pandemic.

"If not for the coronavirus pandemic, Barca would easily pay Leo Messi's contract," La Liga president Javier Tebas has told FutbolJobs.

"In my opinion, he is well paid," Tebas added.

Spanish newspaper El Mundo broke down all the numbers behind Lionel Messi's current deal with Barca last month, claiming that his 'pharaonic' deal ruins the club.

As per reports, the Argentine is determined to take legal action against El Mundo. The 33-year-old is also expected to file a lawsuit against the five people he suspects in leaking his contract information, including Carles Tusquets and Josep Maria Bartomeu.
