Jordi Cruyff slams board for election postponement

Cruyff explains that some free agents may be unavailable for Barca in March.

This is why the presidential election should've taken place earlier.

"We are almost in March and this [Barca's presidential election] should have been held in November or December," Jordi Cruyff has told Cadena SER.

"Besides, if the financial situation is difficult, if there are interesting free players, maybe in March they are no longer free," he added.

Barcelona remain linked with the possible arrivals of Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and David Alaba who could all be free agents in July.

As a reminder, Jordi Cruyff was initially expected to join Victor Font's project if the latter won the election, but his recent statements indicate that he's more of a Joan Laporta supporter.
