Koeman reacts to Trincao's debut Barca goal: 'It will boost his morale'

Trincao's match-winning goal against Betis was the first one in his Barca career.

Koeman says he's happy for the youngster, who's been working very hard.

"Francisco Trincao's first goal? I am very happy for him because he is working really hard. He is young and has a lot to learn. But this goal will boost his morale," Ronald Koeman said after the Real Betis win.

As a reminder, Trincao came in as a sub against Betis and went on to score Barcelona's third goal of the night, sealing the Catalans 3-2 win over the Andalusian side. It was the 21-year-old's first goal as a Blaugrana player.

In total, Francisco has now recorded a goal and an assist in 27 matches for Barca.
