Koeman responds to PSG's attempts to lure Messi to Paris: 'If they want to speak about Leo, let them do it'
Around half of the PSG squad have spoken about Leo's potential move to the Parc des Princes over the past few weeks.
Koeman, who previously dubbed the Parisians 'disrespectful', still doesn't know why PSG continue to create tension between the clubs.
"I don't know why [PSG] do it," Ronald Koeman told the pre-Sevilla presser on Tuesday of Paris Saint-Germain's public attempts to lure Lionel Messi to Paris, as quoted by ESPN. "If they want to speak about Leo, let them do it."
Last week, Koeman hit back at the Parisians saying that it's 'not respectful' to talk about their interest in the Barcelona captain. That was after Angel Di Maria said that there's a 'big chance' of Leo joining PSG on a free transfer in the summer.
Lyon boss Rudi Garcia, however, has accused the Dutchman of hypocrisy since then as Koeman openly discussed Memphis Depay's potential transfer to Camp Nou earlier this season.
"And now the Lyon coach gets involved," the Barca head coach added. "It seems he likes to have prominence in the press. For me, it's not important.
"Look, what we have to do is prepare for the Copa del Rey semifinal against Sevilla [on Wednesday], then for Alaves on Saturday and then for PSG in the Champions League next Tuesday."
It was PSG sporting director Leonardo who first aired his side's interest in the Argentine last month.
