Moroccan Goalkeeper set new Sevilla record in LaLiga.

The Moroccan shot-stopper has broken Beto's Sevilla club record for consecutive minutes without conceding a goal in LaLiga.

Sevilla's 2-0 LaLiga victory over Osasuna on Monday saw Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, better known as Bono, set a club record for the most consecutive minutes played without conceding a goal in the league, surpassing the mark established by the team's former goalkeeper Beto.

Goals from Diego Carlos in the 19th minute and Luuk de Jong in the 49th minute at El Sadar saw Sevilla rise to third place in LaLiga, behind Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid.

Bono: 528 minutes without conceding LaLiga goal

After this triumph, LaLiga's official Twitter account announced that Bono has now gone 528 consecutive minutes without conceding in the Spanish top flight, surpassing Beto's record of 516 minutes in the 2014-2015 season, while ex-Sevilla goalkeeper Andrés Palop is in third place, having kept a clean sheet for 511 minutes in 2008.

Sevilla having earned 48 points in LaLiga so far this season, registering 15 wins, three draws, and five losses. Atlético Madrid are currently leading the table with 55 points, while Real Madrid are second with 52 points, having played a game more than Atlético and Sevilla.

The Andalusian side have been in a good shape recently, snatching a 2-0 first-leg lead over Barcelona in their Copa del Rey semi-final, with the return leg set for 3 March.
