Pique taking major risk with potential return against PSG

Gerard Pique is taking a big risk making himself available to play vs PSG in the Champions League clash after a record recovery from injury.

After suffering a nasty knee ligament injury against Atletico Madrid in November, the Spaniard was predicted to be out for 4-6 months!

But he has broken all the recovery records by getting fit many months ahead of schedule and has been training without any pain over the last week.

Ronald Koeman is aware of the fact that Pique could risk getting injured again if he plays vs PSG, but might not have much choice with the lack of options in defence.

The experienced centre-back will hope to make a big impact if he plays vs PSG and help Barca shut out PSG’s menacing frontline.
