PSG boss Pochettino reveal Neymar in good spirits ahead of second leg against Barcelona

Just two weeks away from Paris Saint-Germain's second leg against Barcelona, Neymar is back in individual training.

The Brazilian missed the first leg at the Camp Nou after suffering a thigh injury against Caen the week before.

There were initial doubts over whether he would even be fit to play in the second leg but, given his recovery is going well, there now seems a bigger chance.

"Neymar has been training very well, he looks good physically," Mauricio Pochettino told the press on Friday.

"He's on track to return as predicted. He's been on the grass running and doing exercises.

"He was in very good spirits."

Despite this latest setback, Neymar is going through his best time as a PSG player. He's feels backed by the club and is expected to sign a new contract in Paris.

An example of that backing from the club came from sporting director Leonardo, who answered a recent question about Neymar's repeated injuries.

"Everything I've heard about his injury has annoyed me a bit," Leonardo told France Bleu Paris.

"[Everything] about his lifestyle, when he hasn't been able to leave the house for almost a year.

"If he gets injured because of his habits, what's he doing at home? But no one can leave home!"
