PSG boss Pochettino still hoping on a possibility of coaching Messi

Mauricio Pochettino mentions his and Leo Messi's love for Newell's Old Boys.

He doesn't rule out uniting with Leo one day.

However, if he doesn't get lucky to coach Messi, this won't be a problem, the PSG boss adds.

"The club [PSG] have a strategy to improve. If there's a possibility to coach Messi, it's amazing. But if not, it's not a problem," the Parisians' new boss Mauricio Pochettino has told RMC Sport.

"[Messi and I] share our love for Newell's. We both wore that shirt, we have that link. But we'll see. You don't know what the future holds for us and whether our paths will cross," the Argentine added.

With less than 6 months left on Messi's Barca deal, his summer move to PSG remains an option.

Earlier, the Parisians' sporting director Leonardo confirmed that the French side are among the big clubs 'closely following Messi'.
