Real Madrid has reportedly failed to appeal Eder Militao's red card, out against Huesca

Real Madrid has failed to appeal Eder Militao's red card, Marca reveal.

The referee decided to send the Brazilian off only after consulting with the VAR.

The punishment stands and the centre-back will be suspended for Saturday's clash against Huesca.

Thankfully, Sergio Ramos and Nacho have returned to training lately and could possibly strengthen the depleted defence.

As a reminder, Militao was sent off in the 8th minute of the 2-1 Levante defeat last Saturday for the last-man foul.

At first, the referee showed him a yellow card but after consulting with the VAR he changed his mind.

It's Militao's first red card in 26 matches for Real Madrid.
