England Championship | New York Stadium | Today

Rotherham: L W W L L L

Nottingham Forest: D W W D L W

Key Point

Nottingham Forest have won three of their last five league games (D1, L1).

Rotherham have lost their last three Championship fixtures on the spin.

The Millers have also won just one of their last five starts at the New York Stadium, losing three.

In-Form Forest to Fire in South Yorkshire

Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a fine February so far with ten points secured from five league games and the Tricky Trees can get the better of third-bottom Rotherham on Tuesday night.

Forest’s 1-0 success at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday was their third victory of the month and moved them seven points clear of the bottom three. Chris Hughton’s men have also drawn with sixth-placed Bournemouth since the beginning of February and their only defeat in that spell was a narrow one away to fourth-placed Swansea (1-0).

That reverse against the Swans also halted a three match winning run on the road for Hughton’s side, who will travel to South Yorkshire this week in confident mood.

Rotherham have endured a difficult run of fixtures lately with their last three starts all coming against teams currently placed seventh or higher, but the Millers will still be disappointed to have taken zero points from a possible nine.

Its left Paul Warne’s charges bang in trouble and the pressure will really be on the hosts here to stop the rot. Rotherham have won just one of their last five home games though, losing three, and we think in-form Forest are a great bet to wrap up another three points via a 1-2 score-line.
