Victor Font name Aguero among the eight-man transfer shortlist for the summer window

The presidential hopeful is eager to revamp the squad but he has to win the election first.

Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has an eight-player shortlist for the summer transfer window, according to Marca.

As per the Madrid-based newspaper, the list goes as follows:

Sergio Aguero

David Alaba

Georginio Wijnaldum

Juan Bernat

Memphis Depay

Rui Silva

Hakan Calhanoglu

Font is very aware of the fact that the Catalans can't afford to sign all of them at once due to the club's poor financial situation.

Every player on Victor's list is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, so Barca won't be paying any transfer fees.

The likeliest candidate to join the Blaugrana in the summer is Garcia. Ronald Koeman recently claimed that 'Eric will surely come to Barca next season'.

Regardless of Font's plans, he has to win the upcoming election. As things stand now, Joan Laporta is said to be the hot favourite to become the next president of Barca.
