Barca players rating in Sevilla comeback with Pique 9.5, Dembele 8

Gerard Pique underlined his value to this Barcelona team with a crucial goal as they turned their Copa del Rey semi-final with Sevilla around.

The veteran defender popped up in the 94th minute to head in the equaliser, sending the tie to extra time and ultimately sending Barcelona to the final.

Gerard Pique — 9.5

The centre-back was rock-solid defensively and pulled through when it mattered most to send us to extra-time. The veteran barely put a foot wrong tonight, leading the defence to yet another clean sheet. It looked like Pique picked up an injury in extra-time, we hope it's nothing serious.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen — 9

The German didn't crack at the penalty, and the comeback was possible in big part thanks to his ability to keep a cool head. A great, impeccable game from Ter Stegen, and his passing was as impressive as always,

Ousmane Dembele — 8

When on the pitch, Dembouz was Barcelona's most active attacker, although he did make a few bad decisions along the way. Most importantly, though, he was the one to give us comeback hopes after scoring an absolute screamer early in the game.

Leo Messi — 7.5

Not the most impressive game from the GOAT, but we can applaud his effort, as he was the leader of most of our attacks. Besides, Messi showed that he, in fact, can and wants to run back and defend. The comeback would've certainly been impossible without him.

Junior Firpo — 7.5

Perhaps not the most obvious choice, but we don't want his great performance to go under the radar. Despite having to play at right-back, Firpo showed great composure. Junior stopped several dangerous attacks all by himself while also blocking a few shots. A great night for the 24-year-old.
