Barca winger Alex Collado set to be promoted to 1st team this summer

Barcelona have informed Alex Collado over his promotion to the first team this summer, according to Cadena SER's Santi Ovalle.

The 21-year-old is reportedly set to join Ronald Koeman's set up at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old's contract expires in June but the club have an option to extend it by two years.

The Catalans are set to trigger the extension before the winger joins Ronald Koeman's set-up.

The Spaniard's release clause will jump to €100m after the renewal.

Collado has been at Barca since joining La Masia in 2009.

Alex has made just two senior appearances for the Blaugrana so far and is yet to play under Koeman this term.
