Bartomeu's regime was overshadowed with controversy but he still made some good signings for Barca.
In a poll conducted on Reddit, Barca fans have chosen their top 5 signings under ex-president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
The top 5 include Frenkie de Jong (18%), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (18%), Luis Suarez (16%), Pedri (14%) and Sergino Dest (12%).
Expensive signings like Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann failed to make the cut.
Bartomeu was also responsible for signings such as Paulinho, Martin Braithwaite, Samuel Umtiti, Arthur, Rakitic and Clement Lenglet.
Bartomeu became Barca president in January 2014 replacing Sandro Rosell who had resigned his role.
In October 2020, Bartomeu stepped down from his role following allegations of fraud and social media defamation.
